AN ORIGINAL CONCEPT STORY
Red in motion
One fold, a whole change in feeling.
01 / THE IDEA
Let the fold lead.
A flat surface becomes a landscape as soon as it folds. This concept begins there: a ridge of red, a deep shadow, and a raw edge that keeps the image from feeling too perfect.
The direction is deliberately simple. Give one material enough room, and small changes in light can carry the whole composition.

DETAIL CROP / ORIGINAL CONCEPT ARTWORK02 / LOOK CLOSER
The edge keeps it human.
Follow the ridge from the bright upper surface into the darker fold. The loose fibers along the edge interrupt the smooth silhouette. That small interruption gives the study its character.
- A sweeping curve rather than repeated pleats
- Vermilion light falling into oxblood shadow
- A raw edge against a softly structured fold
A little movement changes everything.
