01 / THE IDEA
Give contrast some room.
Black folds make a quiet stage for a narrow band of ivory. The two surfaces share a frame without blending into each other: one holds its shape, the other loosens at the edge.
This concept is an exercise in balance. Remove the bright color and the weave, the curve, and the space between them become the story.

The soft edge is the turning point.
The ivory strip catches the light along its loose fibers. Against the dark ground, a small fray becomes a clear contour. Look closer and the black material reveals a pattern of its own.
